Training course for AGUICAT
From COOLTUR Cultural Tourism we also do trainings!
Yesterday, we were in charge of doing a training on Roman Archaeology in Barcelona for the members of AGUICAT.
From COOLTUR Cultural Tourism we also do trainings. Yesterday, we carried out a training course on Roman Archaeology in Barcelona for the members of AGUICAT (Association of Qualified Tourist Guides for the Generalitat de Catalunya for Professional and Quality Tourism). The course was divided into two parts.
The first part of the course was held in the civic centre of Patí Llimona in Barcelona. In this part we made an introduction of the functioning of the urban archaeology, and of the problematic to be able to interpret the remains found in each archaeological site of Barcelona. In addition, we were also able to explain the evolution of the city of Barcino, both in terms of its origins and the different evolutions experienced during Roman times.
During the second part of the course, we made a guided tour of the centre of Barcelona. In this outing, we went to different parts of the Gothic Quarter of Barcelona to see, and explain in situ, the different Roman remains that are still preserved in Barcelona.
From COOLTUR Cultural Tourism we would like to thank the AGUICAT for the opportunity to train them on Roman Archaeology in Barcelona.
