The Bertrana is a house that is located in the Major street, 1, of Les Preses, just in front of the current Town hall, in the region of the Garrotxa.
This building was supposedly built during the 16th century. It has an elongated shape, and the entrance door is linteled. In order to enter the house, there are stairs on each side of the entrance. In addition, on one of the lintels of this building you can read the date 1630.
We know that during the 16th century, this house was occupied by an Occitan person, and before the plague of 1650, this house was extended.
