In front of the beach of Caldes d’Estrac, in the region of Maresme, concretely in the Moreres Avenue, 10, we can see a building of eclectic style.
This is one of the old summer towers, built between 1911 and 1929, which the Barcelona bourgeoisie built in Caldes. The architect in charge of this construction was Enric Sagnier, who gave it a markedly eclectic style.
The building consists of a ground floor and two upper floors. In addition, in the corner there is a body, in the form of a tower, which has an additional floor.
The most outstanding features of this building are the ornamental elements that can be seen. These elements consist of the coats of arms that decorate the window lintels, as well as the cross of Saint George decorated with floral elements.
