The Joan Triadú Library and the Leather Art Museum share the same building located at Arquebisbe Alemany Street, 5, in the city centre of Vic, in the region of Osona.
Both the Joan Triadú Library and the Leather Art Museum were founded in 1996. These two facilities were located in the former Convent of Carme, a baroque convent, designed by Joan Morató.
This convent has a ground floor, where the Joan Triadú Library is located, and two upper floors, where the Leather Art Museum is located. Inside this convent, there is a square cloister. On each of the sides there are seven semicircular arches that rest on columns with a curved shaft, and simple capitals. It is possible to observe this cloister from the interior of the Joan Triadú Library.
