The city hall of Vilassar de Mar is located next to the old Casino, in the urban centre of Vilassar de Mar, in the Maresme region.
This building was built in the middle of the 19th century, although it was reformed in 1903 by the architect Farrés Puig.
The City Hall building has a marked neoclassical style, consisting of a porticoed ground floor, and two floors high. The two upper floors of the building are framed by four pilasters with Corinthian capitals that run along the entire façade up to the cornice. In addition, these four columns frame the balcony and the windows on the first and second floors.
