The church of Santa Margarita de Ardola is located at the foot of Puig del Far, within the municipality of Tavèrnoles.
The first documentary mentions we have of this church date from the 11th century. It was decorated in the Lombard style, with lesenes and blind arches. In 1936 it was abandoned, and in 1945 the roof of the church collapsed. It is now in ruins.
This was a single-nave church. Of the elevation, only the north wall is preserved. We assume that it was covered by a semicircular arch vault, but we cannot say.
