The church of Sant Miquel de Vilageliu is located next to Mas Vilageliu, within the municipality of Tona.
The first documentary news we have about this church dates from the year 948.
This is a church with a single nave, with a semicircular apse and covered by a barrel vault. Outside, we can also see a small belfry.
On the outside of the apse, a decoration made with blind Lombard arches. Inside, we can see three semi-cylindrical arches attached to the walls of the naves.
This church lost its cult in 1936, as a consequence of the Spanish Civil War. However, in 1980 it was restored for the last time, which made it possible to discover a Roman milestone at the base of the altar.
