Can Parera is a building located at 20 Nou Street, in the city centre of Mataró, in the Maresme region.
What is most striking about this building is its façade, which was designed by the architect Josep Puig i Cadafalch in 1894. On the façade there are sgraffitoes with floral elements, and a Gothic moulding on the lintel of the balconies.
Also very characteristic of this building is the crowning of two sculpted reliefs, full of medieval references. These reliefs were sculpted by Eusebi Arnau.
Also very curious are the two sculpted faces, located on the cornice of the building, from which the two water drains come out, as well as the sgraffito on the entire façade.
