Can Cabot is an old farmhouse that is located in the Arquitecte Eduard Ferrés Avenue, in the urban centre of Vilassar de Mar, in the Maresme region.
The origins of Can Cabot go back to the 18th century, although over time, this house has undergone different reforms. The last reform is from 1943, and the architect in charge of the reform was Miquel Brullet Monmany.
Can Cabot is a farmhouse with a ground floor, a first floor and an attic. One of the most outstanding elements of this farmhouse are the three large balconies on the first floor.
However, the most characteristic part of this house is the historicist baroque ornamentation of the entire facade. The sgraffito of all the facade, along with a sundial and the borders. We can also highlight the crowning of the façade, formed by convex basin lines.
We also emphasize the decoration of the railings of the grills of the windows and balconies of all the building.
