Can Cabanyes is a building, of neoclassical style, located in the Riera Street, 23, in the urban centre of Caldes d’Estrac, in the Maresme region.
Can Cabanyes is a big house with a square floor plan, with a tower – viewpoint in the centre, and with two porticoes galleries on the sides. This whole building is surrounded by a large garden.
This house was built during the 19th century, and was the summer home of the Cabanyes family. Its location means that this house enjoys great views of the whole Caldes d’Estrac valley, as well as the Mediterranean Sea. In addition, Jacint Verdaguer, a great Catalan poet and friend of the Cabanyes family, lived in this building during his stays in Caldes d’Estrac.
