Within the village of Prats de Lluçanès, in the Avenida Pau Casals, we can find the Café Orient, a modernist building built in 1907.

The main façade of the Café Orient is divided into two parts by a visible column. On the left side of the façade, on the ground floor, we can see a door flanked by two large windows. On the first floor we can see three windows crowned by visible elements that take a triangular shape.

On the right side of the façade we can see, on the ground floor, a large door framed by an exposed brick arch. On the first floor, there is a balcony, with wrought iron railing, with two large openings.

All the openings of this building are framed with exposed brick elements. Inside the building, although the original tiles are preserved, tiles painted with floral motifs.

At the back of this building, there is a large hall that was used as a theatre, cinema and ballroom. Unfortunately, it is not currently open to the public.

This café was the cultural epicenter of the town during the 1930s. This was the only theater in the village, and different theatrical works were performed there.
