The Bridge of the Mill is a medieval bridge located next to the church of Sant Martí d’Albars.
This bridge crosses the Gavarresa stream and is part of the old royal road that linked Sant Martí d’Albars with Perafita. Although they used to pass by carts, nowadays it is for pedestrian use.
This bridge is built with stone bound with lime mortar, and is about 25 meters long. It has a large central column that separates two large ploughs formed by two pointed arches. In the centre of the pillar, there is a large quadrangular orifice with a segmental arch. The floor of the bridge is made of stone slabs, where the wear and tear of the passage of carriages can still be observed.
