Church of Sant Martí Xic
The church of Sant Martí Xic is located in Sant Martí mountain range, next to the remains of the Castle of Voltregà, in the municipality of Les Masies de Voltregà.
The first documentary evidence of the church of Sant Martí Xic dates back to 1097. However, the current building was restored in 1984.

The church of Sant Martí Xic has a single nave with a semicircular apse. The entrance door is lintelled and has a slit window on one side. Inside, a toral arch is preserved in the centre of the nave.
In 1984, during the restoration of the church of Sant Martí Xic, an archaeological excavation was carried out on this site. In this excavation, different tombs from the old cemetery of this church were discovered.
From this point, there are impressive views of the Plana de Vic.

Les Masies de Voltregà is located in the centre of the Plana de Vic, in the county of Osona. To reach this municipality you can do so via the C-17 and/or BV-4608 roads.
