Chapel of the Mare de Déu del Pilar of Castellcir
The Chapel of the Mare de Déu del Pilar of Castellcir is next to the Talladella farmhouse. This chapel is located next to the road that goes from Castellcir to the church of Santa Coloma Sasserra, in the municipality of Castellcir.
The first documented mention of the Chapel of the Mare de Déu del Pilar of Castellcirdates back to 1666. Originally, this chapel was advocated to Saint Joseph, although later it was advocated to the Virgin of Pilar.
This is a small chapel, with a single nave and a rectangular floor plan. Inside, the Chapel of the Mare de Déu del Pilar of Castellcir is covered by a barrel vault.
On the outside, you can see the main door, which is rectangular in shape. Above the door there is a small porthole, and the façade is crowned by a small belfry.
