The first preserved historical records of the chapel of Sant Vicenç of the castle of Lluçà date back to the 10th century.
The chapel of Sant Vicenç in the Castle of Lluçà has a circular floor plan with a semicircular apse. The roof of this chapel is made with a completely circular dome, and the apse has a quarter-sphere vault. The entrance door to this chapel has a semicircular arch.
There is a hypothesis that the construction of the chapel of Sant Vicenç of the Castle of Lluçà was a reuse of an old defensive tower. This tower would have been an old defensive tower of the castle of Lluçà.
