Although Vilassar de Mar does not have a large municipal area, in this municipality you can find natural places of great beauty. In fact, in Vilassar de Mar there are some of the quietest and most family-friendly beaches in Catalonia!
But you can also find a great number of heritage elements of incalculable value!
Can Vivó
Can Vivó is a house located in Doctor Masriera Street, 2, in the centre of Vilassar de Mar.
Can Vivó was built at the beginning of the 20th century and consists of a single floor, a basement, and a roof terrace. The most striking feature of Can Vivó is the sgraffito decoration on the façade. This decoration imitates stone ashlars.
However, what stands out most about Can Vivó is the crowning of the front part of the roof. This crowning is formed by a curvilinear pediment, in the centre of which there is a porthole. The pediment is decorated with sgraffito decoration in the form of bouquets and garlands. The other sides of the roof are enclosed by balustrades.
