Can Parera
Can Parera is a building located at Nou Street, 20, in the centre of Mataró.
The most striking feature of Can Parera is its façade, which was designed by the architect Josep Puig iCadafalch in 1894. On the façade there are sgraffitoes with floral elements and Gothic moulding on the lintel of the balconies.
Also, very characteristic of Can Parera is the crowning of two sculpted reliefs full of medieval references. These reliefs were sculpted by EusebiArnau.
The two sculpted faces on the cornice of the building are also very curious. From these two faces emerge the two downpipes. In addition, the entire façade is decorated with different sgraffito work.
