Although Vilassar de Mar does not have a large municipal area, in this municipality you can find natural places of great beauty. In fact, in Vilassar de Mar there are some of the quietest and most family-friendly beaches in Catalonia!
But you can also find a great number of heritage elements of incalculable value!
Can Jover
Can Jover is a house located next to Can Bassa, on the seafront promenade of Vilassar de Mar.
Like most of the houses on Sant Pau Street, Can Jover was renovated at the beginning of the 20th century. Specifically, the façade of Can Jover was restored in 1915.
The Can Jover building consists of a ground floor, a first floor and a basement. One of the most characteristic elements of this building is its decoration. This decoration uses ornamental glazed ceramics in different colours. These elements decorate the balustrades, the upper part of the openings, and the cornice band. In addition, the use of exposed brick, especially on the cornice of the building, is also noteworthy.
