Can Carrau
Can Carrau is a building located at Riera Street, 93, in the centre of Mataró.
Can Carrau consists of a ground floor and two upper floors. The openings of the entire façade combine round arches with very low, segmental arches.
One of the most outstanding elements of Can Carrau is the wrought iron railing on the first floor. On the first floor there are four windows with semicircular arches, separated by columns. Above the first floor there are three oval-shaped portholes.
In addition, the façade of Can Carrau is decorated with stucco, with a decoration marked by garlands with vegetal motifs. This decoration can be found on the balcony, as well as in the openings of the building.
